Wound Care Coordinator LPN or RN
About the role
We are currently searching for a Wound Care Coordinator to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. Responsibilities
- Improving the lives of our residents by providing support to the Treatment Doctor and wound care team.
- Aiding patients with the delivery of wound care services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, with lifting, turning and repositioning of residents during the delivery of wound care.
- Observing changes in condition and ensuring a safe environment.
- Maintaining education.
Requirements
- An unencumbered State of Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- C.P.R. certification.
- One (1) year of Wound Care experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of wound care procedures and protocols.
- Ability to lift and reposition residents.
- Attention to detail.
