Wound Care Coordinator
About the role
We are currently searching for a Wound Care Coordinator Nurse (RN preferred) to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents by providing support to the Treatment Doctor and wound care team, assisting patients with the delivery of wound care services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing. Your responsibilities will include lifting, turning, and repositioning residents during wound care, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education.
Requirements
- Unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- C.P.R. certification
- Wound Care certification preferred, but a minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care treatment is acceptable
