Wound Care Clinician, PRN

Role Overview Responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients with acute and/or chronic wounds, ostomy management, fistulae, tubes, skin, and incontinence issues. Collaborates with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with complex wound and ostomy needs.Educate patients on ostomy care and management.Manage issues related to fistulae, tubes, skin, and incontinence.Work closely with healthcare team to plan and execute treatments. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy program (Bachelor's preferred).Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound/ostomy care preferred.Experience in research, data analysis, and collateral editing is advantageous. Licenses & Certifications Current BCLS certification.Valid Georgia State Licensure as RN, PT, or OT (OT required).Maintain CEUs as mandated by the state.Preferred certifications include CWS or CWOCN.
