Responsibilities
- Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline
- Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment
- Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing
- Learns and implements evidence-based practice changes
- Ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies
- Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems
- Provides strong leadership and mentorship
- Ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development
- Maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery
- Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments
- Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educates and mentors staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based practices
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Fosters patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction

Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Master's of Nursing (preferred)
Skills
- Knowledge of Outpatient hospital services
