Responsibilities

• Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment
• Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing
• Learns and implements evidence-based practice changes
• Ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies
• Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems
• Provides strong leadership and mentorship
• Ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development
• Maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery
• Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments
• Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educates and mentors staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based practices
• Develops and implements policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Fosters patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing
• Master's of Nursing (preferred)

• Knowledge of Outpatient hospital services
• Knowledge of Insurance Authorization

• Ability to adapt to changing patient flow schedules
