Worship Pastor

About the role

Southside Baptist Church is seeking a passionate Worship Pastor to lead our congregation in authentic, Christ-centered worship. This role goes beyond music—it is about cultivating a worship culture where people encounter God, grow spiritually, and actively participate in worship. The Worship Pastor will lead, develop, and shepherd a thriving music ministry while working closely with pastoral leadership to shape meaningful, engaging services that point people to Jesus.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills to build and guide a healthy worship ministry
• Musical ability (vocally and/or instrumentally) with a heart for excellence in worship
• A shepherd’s heart with the ability to encourage, disciple, and care for team members
• A gift for administration and planning within ministry environments
• Experience in worship ministry is preferred but calling and character matter most
