Worship Lead

About the role

The Worship Leader oversees chapel including leading the worship team, planning and facilitating chapel services with the program coordinator and camp speaker.

Schedule

May 24, 2026 – August 15, 2026 (seasonal position)

Responsibilities

• Recruit and lead worship team both spiritually and technically
• Plan and facilitate chapel services with program coordinator and camp speaker
• Manage sound tech and create slides for chapel

Requirements

• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Minimum age 18
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program
• Professing Christian that commits to follow the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• Strong instrumental and/or vocal experience
• Soundboard experience required
• Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and email experience required
• Able to lead worship team spiritually
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Willing to teach and invest in campers
• Staff will live, eat, and serve on-site, modeling the values of CLM as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job
