About the role

Big things are brewing on Shrewsbury Street at Wormtown Brewery! Wormtown Brewery in Worcester is kicking off a brand-new kitchen program, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Operations Cook who’s excited to jump in, learn, and help create something special from the very start.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Set up, maintain, and break down workstations
• Aid with inventory, product rotation (FIFO), and labeling
• Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and teammates
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• At least 3-5 years of prior cooking or line experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs., and handle hot items safely
• Available for nights, weekends, and peak service hours
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Compensation

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
