Worldwide Future Product Marketing Manager
Job Summary
As Worldwide Future Product Marketing Manager, you will define next-generation HP PageWide Industrial printing platforms—accelerating the digital transformation of high-volume print and delivering measurable customer and business value. You will drive product strategy, strengthen value propositions, define requirements, plan beta/early-customer engagements, and lead creation of global go-to-market and launch materials for future platforms and broader system solutions. You will own the future platform roadmap in partnership with customers, channel partners, engineering/R&D, operations, and services—setting priorities, defining requirements, informing pricing strategy, building forecasts and business cases, and aligning stakeholders to deliver on the plan.
Responsibilities
Size and segment the market; track trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform platform strategy
Provide strategic insight and direction on whole product solutions, ensuring products address end-to-end customer workflows and pain points
Own marketing deliverables across the product lifecycle (PLC), ensuring readiness from early concept through release while considering end-of-life requirements
Identify, secure, and support beta and early customers; orchestrate global beta engagements through HP sales regions and partners
Guide early-funnel qualification and solution fit, aligning customer opportunities with product capabilities and roadmap timing
Lead the creation and global rollout of high-impact new product introduction and go-to-market materials
Define and evolve the whole product solutions roadmap over time, including platform sequencing, options, and services
Build and maintain forecasts for placements, usage, and revenue; partner to shape pricing strategy and profitability targets
Develop competitive positioning and win/loss insights; translate competitor moves into differentiated messaging and roadmap implications
Represent the business at tradeshows, open houses, and customer demos—delivering clear, executive-ready narratives that connect technical value to business outcomes
Define and execute a customer insight plan (VOC), synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs into prioritized requirements
Lead market, technology, and product research to validate strategy, support investment decisions, and reduce execution risk
Enable and align HP regions and channel partners with strategy, positioning, and launch readiness to drive adoption and growth
Education & Experience
Recommended Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product management, including 3-5+ years in future product planning, platform strategy, or similarly strategic roles; worldwide/international market experience strongly desired
Knowledge & Skills
Strategic and tactical thinker with an execution bias; able to navigate ambiguity, set direction, and drive outcomes through influence
Proven ability to identify profitable market opportunities and craft differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging
Proven cross-functional leadership with strong executive presence, communication, and presentation skills (able to distill technical detail for senior stakeholders)
Demonstrated ability to track and respond to competitor strategies to drive differentiation
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels—from engineers to C-suite stakeholders—building consensus and resolving conflict
Exceptional analytical and business planning skills, including market sizing, pricing/packaging inputs, TCO/TCOP models, business cases, and NPV/ROI analysis
Experience engaging and influencing senior customer executives; comfort presenting to external stakeholders such as partners and industry forums
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making
Deep knowledge of commercial/industrial printing technologies, workflows, and market trends
Experience in publishing and/or commercial printing markets, including competitive analysis and positioning across the industry ecosystem
Business development and partner engagement experience is a plus
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $125,050 to $170,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
