About the role

Responsibilities
- Identify common learning targets using standards (CCSS, SELS, Language)
- Develop daily and weekly plans to support student growth
- Create common year-long/course plans with essential questions and resources
- Plan and execute rigorous, engaging units and lessons
- Provide necessary scaffolds, interventions, and extensions
- Use multiple ways to check for student understanding and adjust instruction
- Analyze data and adjust instruction based on student achievement
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress
- Collaborate with peers to reflect on student achievement and teacher practice data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in one or more areas: Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL), Chinese, French, German, or other world languages
- Official transcripts required for formal employment
- Applications are considered on a rolling basis
- Unlicensed candidates must be hired by another district to apply for a One-Year License with Stipulations

Benefits
MMSD offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a minimum annual salary of $52,154 (25-26 TE Salary Schedule) and a length of contract of 192 days. The district also provides an exempt employment type and a supportive work environment.
