Work-study or student positions are specifically intended for students enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester. To be eligible, you must be a recipient of work-study through Financial Aid. About the role

Effectively implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities that engage members in the area of academic success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Club safety by checking equipment and supplies prior to activities and reporting unsafe situations to the Site Director.
• Address Club member behavior concerns as they arise and communicate them to the Site Director.
• Lead academic programs and activities as outlined in program plans.
• Support Club Members in homework and high-yield learning activities, including serving as a reading tutor.
• Enforce rules and policies posted in the building.
• Distribute and track program equipment.
• Sign members into every activity to ensure accurate participation tracking and submit sign-in sheets to the Site Director and/or front desk.

Requirements

• Must be an active student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester.
• Must be a recipient of work-study through Financial Aid.
• Students are not permitted to work during scheduled class times.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $14.00 (based on qualifications).
