Workshop Mechanic - Specialty Rental - Deer Park, TX

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fleet in the shop
• Change oil/oil filters/air filters on equipment coming back in from rent
• Wash equipment returning from rent
• Trussleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment
• Repair down equipment in the shop
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measurable success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software

Requirements

• 2 - 3 years experience as an industrial related service field mechanic
• An appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• Expected to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling
• Good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• High energy levels

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Strong mechanical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to industrial maintenance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
