Workshop Maintenance Support (Temp)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of equipment prior to unloading and report any damage, defects, or shipping discrepancies.
• Congduct machine inspections and functional testing to verify proper equipment performance.
• Operate equipment to ensure full operational functionality prior to shipment.
• Maintain daily battery charging schedules for machines and document charging activity.
• Safely load and unload equipment from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Operate aerial work platforms including scissor lifts and boom lifts in compliance with safety procedures.
• Use iPad-based inspection apps and digital systems to record inspection results, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
• Maintain organized equipment storage areas and staging locations to support warehouse efficiency and fleet availability.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, effective organization and time management, attention to detail with strong documentation abilities, basic math and recordkeeping skills, strong coordination and planning abilities, inventory awareness and tracking capability, clear communication skills, customer-service oriented and helpful attitude.
• Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., ability to move throughout warehouse and office environments, ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts, exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, hazardous materials, and varying temperatures, ability to climb, push/pull, and perform repetitive hand and finger motions, equipment used: standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, filing cabinets, iPads), warehouse equipment: forklift, scissor lifts, shipping ramps, shipping docks, & all Haulotte machine models.
