Workplace Services Mail Center Specialist

IST Management Services is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual with a background in customer care services and a strong passion for serving others to join the team as a Workplace Services Mail Center Specialist. The position is located in central Port Arthur, TX and involves various mail‑related duties—including delivering inbound mail and packages, processing inbound/outbound shipments, and heavy lifting—performed within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and eager to train, learn, and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Sort and deliver incoming mail according to established procedures.
• Receive and scan inbound/outbound overnight packages.
• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.
• Adhere to safety, security, and business‑procedure guidelines.
• Provide support within the operation and perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Background in customer care; detailed‑oriented and process‑driven.
• Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lb with aid.

Pay

$19.00 per hour (DOE).

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
