Workplace Manager

About the role

The Office Manager (Full-time) will be responsible for helping to set up and run Chalk’s workplace. You will play a critical role within the organization by helping the company to operate seamlessly and supporting the team to reach peak performance. This is your opportunity to join us in-person as an early employee and make a visible impact at a high growth start-up.

We work in-person Monday through Friday in our NY office. We don’t currently offer remote or hybrid positions.

What you will do

• Must be available to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Open the office each morning and make sure we’re ready to kick off the day
• Greet visitors, interview candidates, and customers
• Keep the office stocked with supplies, meals, snacks, drinks and everything we need to keep our team happy and operating at a high level
• Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and onboard new suppliers
• Plan team events and offsites
• Auxiliary opportunity to take on other operational roles at the company based on experience

• Scraped, problem-solving and hard working

Compensation
