Responsibilities Organize and maintain inventory of event supplies and storage areas Assist with setup and breakdown of campus events Support event execution in accordance with established guidelines and procedures Monitor and record student attendance at activities Handle all college property with appropriate care and responsibility Foster student engagement and maintain a welcoming environment Ensure activities remain safe, orderly, and compliant with campus policies Participate in required staff training sessions Support additional Student Affairs activities and events as assigned Qualifications This position requires the ability to exercise good judgment and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be enrolled at AUM with at least two semesters remaining Previous event coordination or customer service experience preferred but not required Must be available during approximate standard event hours at least three days per week: Morning/afternoon shift: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, OR Evening shift: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, transport equipment using carts, and perform hands-on tasks Comfortable speaking to groups and providing clear instructions to event participants Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Collaborative team player Equal Opportunity Compliance Statement It is our policy to provide equal employment and education opportunities for all individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, age, disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, or any other classification protected by applicable law.
