About the role
We are looking for a talented Working Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Maxton, NC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment.
- Promote Health: Reporting any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard ensures that health issues are addressed promptly.
- Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations will help maintain high safety and environmental standards.
- Environmental Stewardship: Recognizing how your work impacts the environment and working to minimize negative effects will contribute to sustainability.
- Quality Assurance: Performing quality inspections and identifying non-conforming materials will help maintain product standards.
- Efficiency: Achieving production goals and maintaining clean, orderly work areas will ensure smooth operations and meet customer expectations.
- Team Support: Instructing and coaching others, and acting as a resource for team members, will foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Participating in training and personal development, and actively seeking ways to improve processes, will drive ongoing improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
