About the role

Responsibilities

• Aid in the triaging and processing of support requests received, engaging in verbal, phone, in-person, and electronic communication.
• Supports administration, coordination, updates and application of human resources policies, procedures and practices.
• Convey employment information, guidelines and laws to staff and ensure compliance as deemed appropriate.
• Act as a liaison between Wycliffe/GWS and staff, ensuring smooth and timely communication and prompt resolution to inquiries or support requests.
• Collaborate on efforts and strategies that improve staff’s understanding, adoption and reflection of our values and policies.
• Maintain and submit documentation, correspondence, files, records, and reports on inquiries, developments and resolutions accurately and in accordance with records management protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of HR best practices, employee handbook, policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing assessments to ensure alignment of efforts with protocols and expectations.
• Hold HR professional licensure and/or certifications to contribute as a subject-matter expert, and provide input and support in implementing HR best practices.
• Facilitate training and orientations, prepare professional presentations and other documents, fostering a positive attitude toward organizational objectives, policies and HR practice and procedures.

Requirements

You’re passionate about praying for Bible translation work and seeing lives around the world transformed by God’s Word. An Associate’s degree plus one to three years of work experience in human resources, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, is preferred. A Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (SFOQ) is also required.

The hiring range for this position is $21.10/hr - $25.73/hr.
