About the role
Our client is seeking a bilingual Contingent Workforce Specialist to join its People & Culture team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for temporary manufacturing and warehouse positions.
- Partner closely with staffing agencies to ensure timely fulfillment of staffing needs.
- Coordinate daily and weekly hiring priorities with hiring managers and operations leadership.
- Maintain accuracy in recruiting and onboarding records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS.
- Support onboarding activities for direct hires as business needs require.
- Assist with the development and continuous improvement of onboarding processes and new hire programs.
- Track recruiting metrics, including fill rates, agency performance, time-to-fill, and conversion rates.
- Serve as the primary liaison between staffing agencies, hiring managers, and the HR team.
- Track temporary employee hours and monitor eligibility for temp-to-permanent conversion.
- Coordinate the conversion process, including documentation and communication with staffing partners and hiring managers.
- Ensure compliance with staffing agreements and workforce policies.
- Conduct interviews with agency referrals and walk-in applicants as needed.
Qualifications
- Average of 3–5+ years of recruiting, HR coordination, or HR Generalist experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments preferred.
- Experience working with temporary staffing agencies.
- Experience coordinating onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office.
- Fully fluent bilingual Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
