Workforce Solutions Hydroponics Instructors (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

Hydroponics Instructors will teach and demonstrate to students the fundamentals of growing plants using controlled environment technology and equipment designed for both personal and industrial application. Instructors will be responsible for teaching two levels of classes, maintaining hydroponics equipment, and plant viability.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of occupational experience in Hydroponics work.
• Familiarity with multiple Hydroponic Systems, how they are set up, and maintaining the systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to write syllabi and exams.
• Able to develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
• Able to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
