About the role
Uline, a family-owned company, is North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials with over 10,000 employees across 15 locations. Uline is a drug-free workplace. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain forecasts for 1000+ Customer Service employees, ensuring teams are staffed to meet customer demand.
- Analyze customer demand, order volume and sales trends using weighted averages, indexing, seasonality and trend analysis to guide staffing plans.
- Monitor forecast performance and refine planning approaches to improve accuracy and support operational goals.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify workforce management forecasting and scheduling process improvements.
- Effectively communicate data trends and expected outcomes to leadership, including senior management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of forecasting experience.
- Experience with workforce management scheduling software preferred.
- 3+ years of Excel experience with strong knowledge of formula definitions.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, analytical and time-management skills.
