Responsibilities

• Participate in the administration, development, and delivery of technical and programmatic training, including training related to compliance with federal workforce programs.
• Assist in the implementation of policies, manuals, and memos distributed to staff.
• Support the utilization of the SC Works Online Services system to manage customer service delivery.
• Assist in executing the Workforce Development Division’s Technical Assistance Plan.
• Assess workforce system technical assistance needs.
• Develop and implement training materials for SC Works Center staff.
• Serve as administrator of the SC Works Learning Management System to distribute content, track utilization and completion of required training, and provide updates on developed training.
• Collaborate on multi-departmental and inter-agency training projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two (2) years of verifiable experience developing lesson plans and delivering training in a professional setting within the last five (5) years.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and Learning Management System (LMS) functionality.
• Experience with Canva and the Microsoft Suite of products.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or other training delivery applications in creating online educational content.
• Effective communication and public speaking/presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified teacher or instructor.
• Successful completion of at least 3 post-secondary courses in Education or a related field.
