Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with participants and their circle of influence, ensuring regulatory compliance for eligibility, participation, case notes, and follow-up services related to employment, retention, and termination.
- Recruit participants for the program and seek employment and educational opportunities as they complete the program.
- Attend and conduct community activities focused on participant development.
- Identify and recruit the target population of clients and employers.
- Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic remedial skills in math and reading.
- Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students in meeting program goals.
- Perform job development by frequently connecting with employers and community organizations to market the program and enhance participant success.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; related Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, including past experience working with the targeted population.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license, meet requirements for Eckerd’s auto insurance, and be able to drive for business purposes.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Pay
Hourly rate: $19.25 - $20.25.
About Our Workforce Programs
Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards. We offer partnerships and strategies to create career pathways for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities.
We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships with employers and intermediaries, as well as convene or implement industry or sector partnerships.
