Major Responsibilities

  • Develop, sequence, and maintain Installation Work Packages (IWPs) and related workface planning deliverables that support safe, efficient, and predictable field execution.
  • Cook up with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, quality, safety, startup, field engineering, supervision, and subcontractors to align priorities and resolve work package constraints.
  • Support construction execution planning, including installation sequencing, labor loading, material and equipment requirements, work package release timing, and area-based execution priorities.
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, material status, quantity data, and project controls information to confirm package completeness, constructability, and readiness for field release.
  • Maintain and analyze readiness metrics, constraint logs, planning data, package health, and execution performance to identify risks, support recovery actions, and inform management decisions.
  • Facilitate look-ahead planning, readiness reviews, AWP workshops, and stakeholder coordination meetings to drive alignment on scope, priorities, and execution requirements.
  • Cook up updates to work packages resulting from design changes, field conditions, schedule changes, material availability, or execution adjustments.
  • Incorporate safety, quality, environmental, permit, material, and turnover requirements into work packages and field execution plans.
  • Support Construction Workface Effectiveness (CWE) initiatives by identifying productivity barriers, improving planning processes, and contributing to training, reporting, and knowledge sharing.

  • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, engineering deliverables, material management, project controls, scheduling, cost reporting, quantity tracking, and turnover interfaces.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, safety, quality, startup, field engineering, supervision, and project controls teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify constraints, assess work package readiness, analyze planning and performance data, and support practical mitigation, recovery, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods, constructability reviews, temporary construction facilities, field change management, package release requirements, and integration of safety, quality, environmental, permit, material, and turnover requirements.
  • Proficiency with planning, scheduling, AWP, project controls, quantity tracking, and digital construction platforms used to support work packaging, execution readiness, CWE reporting, and knowledge sharing.
