Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution
  • Investigate and gather information to determine the exposure on the claim
  • Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
  • Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client
  • Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests of directions professionally and timely

Requirements

  • Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Jurisdiction Knowledge: NJ, PA, VA, DE licensing preferred, not required.

Qualifications

  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
  • 2-3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • DE license preferred, not required

Pay

The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 - $86,000 per year.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule if within commutable distance to Sedgwick office. Open to remote.
