Responsibilities
- Analyze and process Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims through well-developed action plans to achieve appropriate and timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
- Communicate claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
- Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 2+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
- Jurisdiction knowledge: NJ.
- Licensing: Not required for this role.

- Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, and analysis.
- Ability to handle work-related stress and multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Computer keyboarding proficiency.
- Strong auditory, visual, and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule in Marlton, NJ; open to remote if outside commutable distance to the office.

Pay
For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation is influenced by skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location.
