Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster (California Experience Required)

About the role

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting position without the commute. This is a fully remote position, and prior workers’ compensation adjusting experience is required (including taking statements, issuing lost wage payments, completing state filings, denying claims, handling subrogation, managing litigation, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling workers compensation claims on behalf of our clients.
• Communicating with a wide variety of individuals, including CEOs, claimants, providers offices, and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• Licence/state experience in California and your SIP.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Pay

The salary range is $50,000-$100,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to location, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
