We are partnering with a well-established law firm in Oklahoma City, OK seeking an attorney who is confident handling workers' compensation matters from initial case strategy through trial. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys advocacy, values collaboration, and is looking for long-term growth within a supportive legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Prepare workers' compensation cases for trial, including discovery, motion practice, witness preparation, and trial strategy.
  • Represent clients during hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance representatives, and the court.
  • Develop case strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing (or eligible for admission) in Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Workers' Compensation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prepare Workers' Compensation cases for trial.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience representing employers or insurance carriers in Workers' Compensation defense matters.
  • Litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining exceptional client service.

Pay

$80,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience.
