Responsibilities

• Manages a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity
• Creates litigation plans
• Creates budget plans, if necessary
• Conducts discovery
• Travels to court and other appearances
• Tries cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction
• Copies motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Prepares cases for trial
• Communicates with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to effectively represent clients
• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in the defense of workers’ compensation cases
