Worker's Compensation Claims Manager
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee and strategize the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims to ensure timely, accurate outcomes
- Partner with the TPA and key stakeholders (HR, Risk Management, Legal, Operations, Safety, Corporate Nurses, Medical Providers, Excess Carriers) to ensure effective claim management, regulatory compliance, and timely care
- Provide financial oversight, including reserve management, settlement evaluation and authority, escalation to excess carriers, and development of settlement strategies (e.g., annuities, MSAs)
- Lead TPA oversight through claim reviews, audits, and claims examiner performance management to ensure adherence to service expectations, best practices, and customer experience
- Evaluate and enhance return-to-work programs across locations
- Occasional travel as needed
- Occasional other projects or duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 6 plus years of related experience
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of specific experience
