WorkDay Reporting Developer

Join a fast-paced finance technology team supporting Workday reporting and analytics for a high-impact enterprise environment. This 12-month contract opportunity is ideal for a reporting professional who enjoys building scalable solutions, improving data quality, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver clear business insights. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, advanced reports, and calculated fieldsSupport analytics initiatives that help improve financial decision-making and reporting outcomesEnsure reporting data is accurate, consistent, and governed appropriately across systemsRespond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests with a focus on clarity and business valueWork with downstream teams to help ensure data is integrated correctly and reliablyDocument business requirements, system processes, and reporting solutionsAssist with implementation activities, hypercare support, and user adoption effortsContribute to ongoing process improvements and maintain system documentationProvide support for incidents, bugs, and system issues as they arise Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experienceAt least 4 years of relevant Workday Finance and Accounting reporting experienceHands-on experience with Prism and/or Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics toolsStrong understanding of financial reporting and planning processesWorking knowledge of Workday security roles and their impact on reporting accessProficiency with Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauAbility to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-moving environmentExperience working with large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources Preferred Skills Workday certification, or a commitment to complete relevant certification after joiningExperience with Workday Adaptive PlanningStrong dashboard design and data storytelling skillsClear executive communication and presentation abilitiesExperience supporting retail and/or grocery business environments Horizontal is committed to building an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, respected, and supported.
