About the Role

We're looking for an HRIS Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of our Workday Recruiting & Onboarding platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and providing exceptional support to HR users.

You'll serve as a key member of the HR technology team, helping maintain system stability while supporting Workday transactions, troubleshooting issues, testing enhancements, and ensuring data quality. As operational support increases, you'll also help create capacity for the team to focus on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires strong Workday experience, exceptional attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work confidently with highly confidential employee information.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations for the Workday Recruiting & Onboarding platform.
  • Respond to user questions and troubleshoot Workday system and process issues.
  • Process HR transactions within Workday, including job changes, organizational updates, compensation corrections, and employee data maintenance.
  • Manage HR support cases and prioritize incoming requests through the HR case management system.
  • Perform routine Workday audits to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor system notifications, inboxes, approvals, and workflow tasks to ensure timely processing.
  • Test system enhancements, configuration changes, releases, and production updates.
  • Assist with Workday configuration, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries that support HR operations.
  • Support data validation, file transmissions, and integration monitoring.
  • Partner with HR, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to improve HR technology processes and user experience.
  • Document procedures, update knowledge articles, and identify opportunities to streamline operational support.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate functional or technical teams while ensuring timely resolution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM in an HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Technology role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Workday Recruiting, Onboarding, or related HR business processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting Workday issues and supporting end users.
  • Strong understanding of Workday transactions, reporting, security, and data integrity.
  • Experience performing system testing for enhancements, releases, or configuration changes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive employee information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Tier 2 HRIS or Workday production support.
  • Experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery or another HR case management platform.
  • Experience supporting Workday implementations or post-go-live stabilization efforts.
  • Experience working in large, enterprise organizations.
  • Exposure to acquisitions or organizational restructuring projects.
  • Experience developing documentation, knowledge articles, or user training materials.

What Success Looks Like

They also look beyond today's request by identifying opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and the overall user experience.
