Workday Payroll Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a Workday Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Workday Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the Payroll product team supporting the organization's payroll operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Business Execution challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet organizational goals.
• Engage in testing, configuration, and requirement gathering within the Workday Payroll module.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Extensive Workday experience, particularly with payroll processes and configurations.
• Workday Payroll certification is a strong plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and creating stories in Jira.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with product, technology, and leadership teams.
