Workday Payroll/Finance Support Analyst

Job Summary
Support the Workday team in growing and improving their skills, assist coworkers with problem-solving and decision-making, and ensure prompt response and resolution of tickets and requests.
Responsibilities
- Showcases problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Exhibits effective written and verbal communication at both a technical and simplified level
- Demonstrates interest and ability to read and understand data to identify trends
- Ensures prompt response on ticket and request resolution within agreed-upon time frames and looks for recurring themes for improvement
- Supports team members by sharing knowledge to help them develop their skills
- Supports and encourages accurate change management process documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls and compliance practices
- Supports applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Offers technical and functional support for different Workday SKUs by assisting with troubleshooting issues, identifying system errors, setting up basic configurations, generating reports, following audit plans, and helping implement solutions
- Engages in ongoing Workday relationships, and relevant memberships within Workday Community, User Groups, and Conferences
- Participates in Workday releases, identifies impacts associated with a new release, and conducts regression testing for the required changes as new releases are introduced
- Engages with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancements and recommended process improvements while translating these recommendations into new system designs
- Participates in, or coordinates user training sessions and develops training materials for end-users, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of system functionality, processes, and procedures
- Able to multitask and reprioritize as needed
- Able to work flexible or extended hours as needed, to meet the job requirements
- This is a remote position, and the employee must have reliable Internet service
- The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties
- The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office
- The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in a corporate environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in an IT support environment specifically supporting custom applications
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- Workday Certified preferred
- Proficiency in MS suite
- Able to successfully pass a background screening
- Able to work flexible or extended hours as needed, to meet the job requirements
