Workday Payroll Architect / Consultant
About the role
Kognitiv Inc. is seeking a Workday Consultant and Architect with 4+ years of experience leading Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post-Production/AMS Services, or as a sophisticated Workday client. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to frequent change, and be willing to meet minimal travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions for global customers, adapting flexibly to their evolving needs across various modules.
- Strategic Consulting: Conduct detailed working sessions to gather and analyze business requirements, assess needs, propose alternative solutions, and advise clients on Workday best practices and process improvements.
- Project Leadership: Lead medium to high-complexity projects (like acquisitions or Phase X rollouts) through the full lifecycle, managing scope, quality, and timelines.
- Delivery Excellence: Drive high client satisfaction by building strong relationships and consistently delivering impeccable service, meeting key performance indicators.
- Mentorship & Knowledge: Act as a mentor, coach, and reviewer for less experienced team members, contributing to the knowledge repository and sharing best practices and innovative deployment approaches.
- Deep Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis on client issues and implement effective, well-researched corrective measures.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years leading Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post-Production/AMS Services, or as a sophisticated Workday client.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of Workday Payroll in any SKUs.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage conflicting demands, prioritize without supervision, and lead full-lifecycle projects (scoping, design, go-live).
- Consultative Skills: Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and proven ability to influence stakeholders, guiding internal and client discussions toward timely solution agreement.
- Technical Acumen: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Pay
USA Pay Range: $76,000 USD - $180,880 USD
