This organization offers challenging yet balanced work, significant upward mobility, and outstanding benefits, making it one of the best employers in the metroplex.

About the role

Join one of the most respected alternative asset management firms in the country as a Senior Workday Integration Architect / Lead. This high-visibility role focuses on integration following a recent Workday implementation. You'll step into a hands-on architect/lead position with real ownership—designing, building, and supporting mission-critical integrations across payroll, benefits, finance, and security. This is an opportunity to work alongside sharp, driven colleagues in a firm recognized for developing talent into future leaders.

If you have strong Workday Studio experience and exposure to Extend or Prism, this role allows you to leverage those skills in a challenging, high-impact environment with excellent long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable Workday integration solutions across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Security, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Absence, as well as downstream third-party systems.
  • Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI, PICOF, RaaS, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, and calculated fields.
  • Develop integrations for downstream payroll providers, benefits carriers, finance/ERP platforms, banking partners, tax systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Configure integration security, including system users, security groups, authentication, OAuth, certificates, and SFTP/API connectivity.
  • Design, build, or support Workday Extend applications and Prism Analytics datasets, pipelines, and dashboards.
  • Monitor scheduled integrations, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate vendor fixes.
  • Own integration regression testing for Workday releases, configuration changes, and tenant refreshes.
  • Create support documentation, technical specs, runbooks, and controls documentation for audit and operational sustainability.
  • Partner closely with People Operations, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, IT, Security, and external vendors to ensure secure, accurate, and scalable data flow.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Workday experience, with deep hands-on delivery experience in Workday integrations.
  • Proven ownership of Workday Studio custom integrations from requirements through production support.
  • Strong experience with EIB, Core Connector, Cloud Connect, PECI/PICOF, RaaS, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and SFTP/API-based data exchange.
  • Strong understanding of Workday integration security, including ISUs, domain security, authentication, and OAuth.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex production integration failures and vendor handoff defects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on Workday Extend application design or development.
  • Hands-on Workday Prism Analytics experience (data blending, dashboards, datasets).
  • Experience with global payroll integrations and effective-dated transactions.
  • Workday certifications in Integrations, Custom Integrations, Studio, Extend, or Prism.
  • Experience in high-control environments with SOX, audit, and data privacy requirements.

Benefits

  • Strong compensation and benefits package, consistently highlighted as a strength by current employees.
  • Hybrid work schedule based out of a Fort Worth office.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture that rewards innovation and curiosity over rigid hierarchy.
  • Firm culture emphasizes developing talent into future leaders, with real upward mobility.
  • Opportunity to deepen expertise in Workday Extend and Prism Analytics, two of the most in-demand differentiators in the Workday ecosystem.
