Workday HCM Payroll Functional Consultant

About the role

Your Area Of Responsibility will be to develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies to ensure timely project completion. Facilitate effective coordination between technical teams and client stakeholders by organizing regular meetings, sprints, and project phases to align expectations and objectives. Support technical teams in executing development, integration, and customization stages of enterprise application packages, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Monitor project deliverables across all phases to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • An ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Focus to anticipate challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Commitment to balance project economics with adherence to strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience in HCM consulting and digital transformation.
  • Experience in Workday Core HCM implementation and architecture.
  • Experience in Workday HCM NA Payroll.
  • Experience working within global system integrator environments.
  • Expertise in: Global HR processes and operating models, Multi-country deployments, Workforce transformation.
  • Knowledge of: Workday HCM architecture, Security and reporting frameworks, Data migration strategies, Integration tools (Studio, EIB, APIs).
  • Workday HCM Certification (required).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Exposure to Workday Technical skillset.
  • Industry exposure (preferred): Energy, Utilities, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Technology.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
