Workday Functional Finance Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for finance processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses)
• Configure Workday Financial modules based on client needs
• Participate in end-to-end Workday implementations and/or support projects
• Design and document business processes and system workflows
• Conduct testing (Unit Testing, UAT) and support issue resolution
• Provide post-go-live support and enhancements
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and reporting
• Train end users and create functional documentation

Core Skills

• Strong knowledge of Workday Financials modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management, Expenses
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Experience in business process configuration (BPs)
• Workday reporting knowledge (basic to intermediate)
• Good stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Workday implementation/support projects
• Certifications in Workday Financial Management (optional but valuable)
• Prior ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage
