Workday Finance Consultant
About the Role
As a Package Consultant 3 in the Infosys Oracle unit, you will contribute to accelerating business growth and digital transformation by delivering innovative Oracle solutions. This role involves analyzing complex business processes, designing solution architecture, and implementing advanced customizations and integrations for ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis.
- Design and implement advanced customizations leveraging ERP platform capabilities and collaborate with the development team to build critical software applications.
- Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications.
- Lead large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience.
- Lead compliance initiatives through audits to uphold security protocols and industry standards.
- Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations.
- Lead training workshops tailored to various user groups to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Experience in software development life cycle and Workday Finance Management.
- Experience in Workday Cloud and Workday ERP implementation or support projects.
- Relevant experience in ERP domain, specifically in implementation or support projects related to Workday Application.
- Proficiency in all delivered ERP processes and reports, with the ability to suggest best practices.
- Experience in ERP Modules (AP, GL, Procurement, Costing, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Payment, etc.).
- Proficiency in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday Cloud, including building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes using native Workday tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in teams on large and complex ERP projects.
- Ability to drive customer discussions independently and act as a trusted advisor for industry best practices.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technology solutions to technical, business, and management teams.
- Expertise in providing consulting services to support all aspects of Workday Cloud systems implementation, including business flow understanding and documentation.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle and Agile practices.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
- This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project locations.
