Workday Extend Senior Analyst

About the role

The role involves supporting or leading the delivery of Workday Extend integrations that meet clients' business requirements. Responsibilities include understanding data integrations, identifying and solving complex business problems, designing, building, and supporting testing of Workday integration code base, and closely following strategic directions.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.
• Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas.
• Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding.
• Closely follow the strategic direction set by client leadership when establishing Workday project goals.
• Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, ideally in a Workday Extend developer role.
• Minimum of 1 years' hands-on Workday Extend experience (or equivalent) with Workday Extend Model Level Components, PMD Scripting, Orchestrations, Studio, EID, and supporting 3rd party coding.
• Minimum of 1 years of US and/or Global Workday deployment experience, with preference to relevant Workday Extend/Cloud platform exprience.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience and working knowledge of webservice technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), scripting skills (Javascript, Java, or Python) and broader knowledge of API First Architecture.
• Experience leading an implementation team, focused on implementing Platform-as-a-Service and/or custom web applications, ideally implementing Workday solutions, Workday Extend within Human Capital Management, Financials, Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 4 years) work experience. If Associate's degree, must have a minimum of 6 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Extend Certification and Studio Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Workday Extend lead role
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Workday Extend experience including Workday Extend Model Level Components, PMD scripting, Orchestrations, Studio, EID, and supporting 3rd party coding.
• Minimum of 2 years of US and/or Global Workday deployment experience, with preference to relevant Workday Extend/Cloud platform experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience and working knowledge of webservice technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), scripting skills (JavaScript, Java or Python) and broader API First Architecture.
• Proven ability to learn and understand not just the technical components, but application design, and product-oriented mindset that can be leveraged for Workday Extend App development.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint.
