Work Instructor/Driver

Location: AEDD – Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled

About the role

Join our team as a Work Instructor/Driver and help create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. This dual role involves teaching, guiding, and supporting adults in their daily work activities while ensuring safe transportation to and from our facility.

Responsibilities

As a Work Instructor, you will:

• Support and supervise individuals as they complete meaningful work tasks.
• Provide guidance in communication, social development, and cognitive skills.
• Help consumers meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Observe and track progress on individual goals, providing feedback and support.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions to help individuals grow personally and professionally.

As a Driver, you will:

• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of consumers to and from the facility.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle for passenger safety and comfort.
• Keep track of vehicle maintenance and daily transportation logs.

Requirements

• 21 years or older.
• Valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (training available if needed).

Pay

$14.00/hour (DOE)

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
