Work From Home Generalist

About the role

Rex.zone is a remote-first platform connecting professionals to structured AI/ML data operations work that improves LLM training pipelines and training data quality. As a remote generalist, you will support data labeling, RLHF preference ranking, prompt evaluation, and QA evaluation across multiple task queues.

Responsibilities

• Complete data labeling for text and image datasets
• Perform RLHF preference ranking and pairwise comparisons
• Evaluate prompts and grade model responses against rubrics
• Run QA evaluation, spot checks, and consistency checks across batches
• Apply annotation guidelines compliance and escalate edge cases
• Support NLP tasks such as named entity recognition (NER) and taxonomy tagging
• Contribute to content safety labeling and policy category tagging
• Document feedback loops and update notes based on reviewer guidance

How Success Is Measured

• Accuracy on gold tasks and audit pass rate
• Consistency across batches and turnaround time
• Responsiveness to reviewer feedback and reduced recurring errors

Requirements

• Mid-senior capability in remote operations, analysis, or digital production work
• Strong English reading comprehension and clear written reasoning
• High attention to detail; comfort working with rubrics and taxonomies
• Ability to maintain consistent throughput while meeting quality targets

Schedule

Remote, full-time schedule with asynchronous collaboration.
