Overview

IST Management is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Work Experience Specialist to support a premier corporate client in Columbia, Maryland. This role provides essential workplace services support, helping maintain a professional, organized, and productive office environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily workplace services operations throughout the facility
  • Aid with workplace service requests and operational support activities
  • Perform routine workplace inspections and report facility concerns
  • Support workplace projects and special assignments as needed
  • Partner with workplace services team members to maintain service excellence
  • Receive, sort, track, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Auxiliary with shipping, receiving, courier, and logistics activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory and operational records
  • Support package tracking and delivery processes
  • Auxiliary with departmental reporting and documentation
  • Assist with conference room setup, breakdown, room resets, and meeting support activities
  • Catering deliveries and hospitality requests
  • Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, breakrooms, and common areas to workplace standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests
  • Auxiliary with office moves, furniture relocations, and workstation setups
  • Maintain organized storage and workplace support areas
  • Perform additional workplace services duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of experience in customer service, hospitality, office services, facilities support, retail, food service, shipping and receiving, or a related field
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push carts and move office furniture
  • Ability to climb ladders and safely perform light maintenance activities
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform physical workplace support functions throughout the workday
