Work Comp Attorney
About the Role
We are seeking an attorney with 3 to 5+ years of experience to join our growing Worker's Compensation practice. You will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by highly experienced Workers' Compensation Attorneys. You will learn different aspects of workers' compensation, perform substantive legal research, hone medical knowledge to assist in litigation, appear for pre-trials, case management conferences, and work towards building your own case load. You will have paid on the job training in handling a case, case management, courtroom appearances, and even arbitration hearings and appeals within the Court system.
What We're Looking For
- Three to five plus years of experience in the legal field
- Basic and/or working knowledge of Worker's Compensation law and hearings
- Strong analytical, communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines
- Excellent negotiation, written and oral communication skills
- Durable work ethic and superior ability to multitask
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment

Qualifications
- A law degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Actively licensed in Illinois or Indiana, or the ability to become licensed to practice in Illinois or Indiana
