Work Center Escort with Security Clearance

Primary Responsibilities

  • Keep critical DoD infrastructure online and secure.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for trouble calls, service requests, and incidents in ServiceNow.
  • Monitor 24/7 environmental conditions - power, cooling, humidity - and respond immediately to alarms and outages.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace rack-mounted UPS units and batteries.
  • Perform daily operational checks, review ticket queues, and contribute to the Morning Report.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, asset records, and configuration control documentation.
  • Cook up with technicians and mission partners during maintenance and Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs).
  • Manage and track IFR access requests, escort requests, and reported security violations.
  • Escort and physical security:
    • Unclear cleared personnel, government staff, and contractors into secure IFRs, TCFs, and CSRs.
    • Enforce on-site security standards and IFR Rules of Engagement (ROE).
    • Brief ROE to personnel seeking unescorted access and maintain signed documentation.
    • Provision, edit, and revoke proxy cards for rack access in physical access control systems.
    • Monitor surveillance systems and activity logs for security events like unauthorized access or doors held open.
    • Coordinate scheduled escorts and surge for emergency requirements.

Where You'll Work

  • Split time between two iconic sites: Mark Center, Alexandria, VA - primary Work Center and IFR operations hub.
  • The Pentagon, Arlington, VA - providing secure facility support and escort operations.
  • You'll be badged for both and expected to flex between them based on mission needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma REQUIRED

SKILLS

  • Active DoD Secret clearance, with possible upgrade to TS/SCI.
  • Proven ability to switch between technical operations and detail-oriented security work without missing a beat.
  • Clear, professional communication - both written reports and in-person briefings.
  • Hands-on familiarity with IT infrastructure: power distribution, cooling, rack hardware, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and alarm monitoring.
  • Comfort working onsite, with a rotating 24/7 shift in secure spaces.
