Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with local employers, trades, and organizations
- Securing high-quality work experience opportunities such as placements, internships, and apprenticeships for students
- Assisting students with adjusting to center life
- Providing mentorship
- Ensuring timely support
- Maintaining accurate records of placements
- Building strong industry relationships
- Planning activities to connect students with suitable work environments based on their interests and skills
- Conducting site visits for safety and progress
- Promoting the program through networking and presentations
- Cooking training opportunities
- Couriering employers
- Serving as a liaison for academic and vocational training
- Supporting students at work sites
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant youth work experience
- Skills in communication, organization, and community knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A valid driver’s license
- CPR/First Aid certification
