WordPress Designer / Developer (Avada Theme)

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current WordPress website
• Make targeted design and content updates within the Avada framework
• Remove or modernize outdated site elements
• Update, audit, and manage WordPress plugins
• Improve website performance, speed, and overall site health scores
• Optimize site structure and functionality where needed
• Update portfolio and website content sections
• Provide recommendations for ongoing improvements and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress development and design
• Strong hands-on experience working with the Avada theme
• Experience managing and updating WordPress plugins
• Knowledge of website optimization, performance improvements, and site health best practices
• Experience updating portfolio pages and website content
• Able to troubleshoot issues and implement efficient solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide accurate project estimates
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and page speed metrics
• Familiarity with WordPress security and maintenance best practices
• Able to identify UX/UI improvements within an existing site structure
