About the role
The maintenance technician's primary responsibility is to perform a diversified list of duties including installation, repairs, preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvements on all equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Intermediate to advanced experience with heavy manufacturing processes and the associated maintenance and repair procedures
- Intermediate to advanced experience with hydraulic and pneumatic processes and principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of associates
- Excellent attendance record
- Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving
- The ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and other hand tools
- The ability to read and comprehend complex data including mechanical drawings and schematics
- Experience in performing advanced preventive maintenance procedures
- The ability to work with others in identifying and solving complex manufacturing problems
- The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- The ability to work at heights exceeding 30 feet with the aid of man lifts and/or ladders/platforms
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- The ability to work rotating shifts if needed
