Woodwinds Sectional Coach - DCC HS Band

About the role

The position involves assisting with small group instruction for woodwinds at Discovery Canyon Campus High School. The start date is August 29, 2025, with an estimated start date of September 5, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Performs temporary, instructional-related activities as directed by a licensed staff member
• Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
• Affords assistance to the licensed staff member with assigned tasks
• Completes non-licensed instructional responsibilities
• Ensures a safe and caring environment conducive to student learning
• Meets the identified learning needs of assigned students as directed by a licensed staff member
• Works collaboratively and cooperatively with instructional staff and others

Requirements

• High school graduate - high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred qualifications include experience in coaching woodwinds
