Woodshop Technician

About the Role

Maintains woodshop and equipment and provides technical and instructional support to students and faculty in the safe operation of woodshop equipment. Sets up the woodshop and prepares materials for use by the Art Gallery and Art Department. Maintains records of equipment inventory and recommends purchase of new equipment or repair of existing equipment. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in art and design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional or academic experience.
