Woodshop Production Worker

Closets by Design is a locally owned franchise in Lakewood, OH. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, pantries, home offices, garage cabinetry, and more.

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals to join our cabinet making production team. Prior woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and measurements
• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring tools
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques
• Follow quality and safety standards
• Maintain shop and installation equipment according to an established schedule
• Understand daily cut lists, production schedules, and installation schedules
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager

Requirements

• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team oriented
• Reliable
